Harvest Moon: My Valentine
Once upon a time, there is a young man who took over a farm in Mineral town named Jun. The villagers expected so much from Jun and his farm, that he spent his entire farming life working. However because of his farm, he rarely had time to interact with the other villagers. From morning, noon, and night, all he did was work. After 5 years of working in the farm, he thought he was already used to being alone. But there are some feelings that people can never get over.
It is now the night before the Valentines Festival in Mineral Town. All the villagers are getting ready for this romantic event, but Jun is not very happy about the festival. Instead, he is sitting near the Spring mine by the pond at 10:00 PM where he can be alone.
He sighs as he thinks about his situation. As he stares out over the pond, he says to himself, "Once again, Valentines day is coming tomorrow. I never thought that things would end up this way. I wonder how did Tony handle being alone all the time. He never got married, and never had children of his own. Now I took over his farm, and it looks like I might end up the same way."
Jun then takes out a spa boiled egg from his rucksack and says, "Well, no use crying about it. I decided to become a farmer of my own free will. Time to eat!" Suddenly, he hears the sound of rustling leaves from the bushes nearby. "Who's there!" yelled Jun. The egg he was holding slips out of his hand and drops into the pond in front of him.
His yell scares a rabbit out of the bushes and hops away. "Darn, it was just a little rabbit making noise. Well, back to dinner." As he is about to eat his egg, he finds that he no longer has it. "Huh! No, I dropped my egg in the pond! Will my luck get any worse than this? It's a good thing no one saw me drop it, or they would think I was littering."
Suddenly, the pond starts to glow. Jun takes a step back as the pond's light grows stronger. After the light fades, Jun rubs his eyes and sees a pretty girl with green hair floating over the pond. "Oh my god, I'm losing it. I've been single for far too long, and now I'm seeing strange light and girls appearing out of no where."
The girl notices Jun standing over by the mines. She floats over to where he is standing at and says, "hi!"
Jun freaks out, and yells, "oh my god, it's not my imagination! It's a ghost! Please don't take my soul, I promise never to drop anything in the pond, I swear!"
"Hey, you're Jun right?" asked the green haired beauty.
"Uh, Yeah. How do you know my name?"
"I'm the Harvest Goddess silly. I know the names of everyone who lives in Mineral Town."
"Uhh. . . Harvest Goddess?" asked Jun. He stops and thinks about the situation. "No way! I know that the people in the town worship her, but I would never think that she's actually real," he thought to himself.
The Harvest Goddess starts to stretch her arms then says, "Wow, it's been a long time since someone dropped an offering for me. Feels nice to breath real air for a change. Thank you so much Jun."
"How long has it been since your last offering?" asked Jun curiously.
The Harvest Goddess takes a moment to think, "Lets see. . . 20. . .30. . . 40. . . 50. . . 60. . . I think about 70 years or so."
Jun is shocked at her answer. "Jeez! That's a long time to be in that pond!"
The Harvest Goddess smiles at Jun, and says, "since you've been so nice to drop me an offering, I'll grant you one wish. And don't wish for something silly either like a million dollars or something like that. I don't like stingy people."
Jun is once again shocked to hear that she is willing to grant him a wish. He thinks about what he wants, but he has no idea what to wish for. "Hmm, a wish? What kind of wishes can you grant?" he asked.
The Harvest Goddess answers, "lets see. . . I know! Do you have a girl that you like?"
Jun's face turns red at her question. "Umm. . . No,” he said feeling embarrassed to admit.
"No? Why not?" she asked.
"Well, look at me, I am a farmer. The whole town is counting on me to make a lot of money and food for the whole town. Because of that, I don't hang out with the other villagers and date girls. Just last year, the last single girl got married." Jun then looks away, and continues, "It's not easy for me to be a farmer and have a love life. Not to mention that tomorrow is the Valentines Festival too."
Harvest Goddess looks at Jun curiously, "The Valentines Festival? What's that?"
"It's a festival that only couples are allowed to attend. Since I've always been single, I never get to attend," explained Jun.
The Harvest Goddess becomes very interested in the festival. "Wow, that sounds interesting. Wouldn't it be nice if we could go together?"
"Yeah, I wish," said Jun jokingly.
"I see, so that is your wish," responded the Harvest Goddess. She places her hands together like if she is going to pray, and she glows brightly.
"Hey wait, hold on a second!" yelled Jun. "I was only kidding!"
"Oh mighty Harvest Lord. Please use you powers to help me grant this man's wish." After a minute, the Harvest Goddess descends to the ground. The blinding light starts to fade, and the Harvest Goddess is now standing on the ground instead of floating.
Jun cannot believe what he just seen. He points at her feet, and yells, "what just happened? Your not floating anymore!"
She smiles and says, "the Harvest Lord heard your wish, and he granted it. So for the next 24 hours, I am in your care."
"Harvest lord? What does that mean?"
"He is the king of all the Harvest Goddess around the world. He is very powerful, yet he created us to watch over the world in his place. He has removed my Goddess powers for a day, and I am now human. Now we can both attend the festival just as you wished."
Jun thinks for a minute. "Well, this is going to be a problem. The festival is tomorrow, so where will you stay until then?"
"You're going to take care of me for tonight. So I'll stay at your house for the evening," answered the Harvest Goddess.
Jun's face becomes red again. He knows that he never had a girl over his house before. However, he also knows that she has no place to stay, and it would be odd to ask someone else to care for a stranger for the evening. "Oh man, I guess I have no choice," said Jun.
They walk back to the farm together. When they get there, The Harvest Goddess becomes quite surprised at the sight of his farm. She stops, and stares at everything. Jun looks back at her, and asks, "Is this really the first time you've seen a farm?"
She shakes her head and says, "No, I've imagined this farm many times before in the pond. But looking at it with real eyes is just such a great feeling."
"Well, it's getting late. So let's go inside," Jun takes the Harvest Goddess back into his house.
The Harvest Goddess was also amazed at the sight at the interior of Jun's house. Living in Mineral Town for so long allowed Jun to remodel his home to fit a whole family. He didn’t plan that he’ll have to live alone in that big house. "Wow, this is such a big house! I can't believe you live here by yourself!"
"Well, it's nothing fancy, but it is home. We should go to sleep soon, why don't you take a bath first."
"Don't be silly," said the Harvest Goddess. "I'm a Harvest Goddess, I don't need to take a bath."
Jun stares at her awkwardly. "right. . . Well, in that case, I'll take one."
Jun goes into the bathroom, and prepares a bath for himself. After soaking himself in the hot water for about 15 minutes, the bathroom door opens up. The Harvest Goddess walks in wearing nothing but a towel.
"Excuse me Jun. Can I wash your back?" asked the Harvest Goddess.
Jun just stares at the Harvest Goddess for a minute while his nose bleeds. "HOLY COW!!! Harvest Goddess, why are you in my bathroom?!"
"I just told you, I wanted to know if I could scrub your back for you."
"You can't just walk in while other people are taking a bath!"
"Really? I thought that humans do this all the time."
"Yeah, but only couples are allowed to do that!"
The Harvest Goddess thinks for a moment without leaving the bathroom. "Hmm, Couples. When a man and a woman are married, they are allowed to wash each other?"
"Yeah, so please. Get out and get dressed."
The Harvest Goddess nods cheerfully and leaves the bathroom to allow Jun to finish his bath. He sits in the tub for about an hour before he is calm enough to walk out. When Jun leaves the bathroom, he sees the Harvest Goddess waiting in the kitchen. She is looking at all of Jun's cooking tools curiously without a clue as to what they are.
"Wow, you have so many interesting things in your house."
"I use those to cook my meals. I don't mean to brag, but I'm pretty good with them," Jun looks away, and blushes. "Hey Harvest Goddess, where did you learn about the whole back washing thing?"
"I saw it in this book I found," said the Harvest Goddess holding up one of Jun's dirty magazines.
"What the!! Where did you find that magazine?"
"Under your mattress." The Harvest Goddess opens the magazine, and starts to flip through the pages. "I saw lots of interesting things here. Strangely, people were hugging each other with no clothing on at all. I don't really understand it at all, but I read something about a woman washing a man's back. I thought everyone does it, so I wanted to give it a try."
Jun quickly snatches the magazine away from the Harvest Goddess' hands. His heart is beating rapidly as he thinks, "oh god, I can't believe she found it. I just tainted the mind of a goddess. I'm going straight to hell for this!"
"Is something wrong?" asked the Harvest Goddess.
"Nothing. Why don't you forget about everything that you saw in this thing. This was not meant for your eyes."
The Harvest Goddess is confused, but she says, "if you say so. By the way, where will I be sleeping?"
Jun has completely forgotten that he only has one bed in the entire house. He takes a look at the bed, and then at the Harvest Goddess. He stands between the bed and goddess without a clue as to what to do with his situation.
"That is one huge bed!" yelled the Harvest Goddess.
"Yeah, I used to own a smaller bed, but I didn't think I was going to end up single forever, so I bought a big bed. Why don't you sleep on the bed, I'll be fine on the floor."
"But the bed is so big, we could both easily fit in it. Can't we just share it?" asked the Harvest Goddess.
Jun thinks for a second, he imagines him and the Harvest Goddess together in the same bed sleeping together. Then later on, he places his arms around her, and whispers sweet words in her ears.
"ACK!!! I just had an indecent thought!" yelled Jun out loud. "All right, cam down Jun. You can control yourself!"
"What's wrong?" asked the Harvest Goddess.
Jun takes a step away from the Harvest Goddess and says, "nothing, don't worry about it. Just sleep on the bed, I'll just get some extra sheets and sleep on the floor."
"But I don't mind sharing the bed."
"Well, I do mind!" The Harvest Goddess has no idea why Jun is acting the way he is. However, she feels that since she is staying at his house, she'll have to obey his rules.
She lays on the bed and falls asleep quickly. Jun rests on the floor, but takes his time falling asleep. As he lays on the floor, he thinks to himself, "Wow, such a strange night this turned out to be. A Harvest Goddess just appeared out of nowhere. Now she's my date for the Valentines Festival. On top of that, I almost saw her naked! I must admit, she has a beautiful body. . ." Jun slaps himself, and continues to think, "What am I thinking! I shouldn't have such thoughts about the goddess. Control yourself!"
The Harvest Goddess turns on the bed, and she is now facing Jun. He looks at her, and thinks, "What is she doing? Oh, she's rolling around in her sleep. I guess I didn't noticed before, but she is beautiful! If she could only stay human forever, we could go out more often."
Jun sighs and falls asleep. He wakes up in the morning, and looks at his bed. He notices that the Harvest Goddess is not there.
He sits up and says, "wow, was all that just a dream? Maybe I fell out of my bed last night, and hit my head pretty hard. Yeah, maybe that's what happened, there is no such thing as the Harvest Goddess or the Harvest Lord. It's all part of my imagination."
"Good morning Jun!" yelled the Harvest Goddess.
Jun looks up at the Harvest Goddess who is in his kitchen cooking food. "Harvest Goddess? I guess it wasn't a dream after all."
The Harvest Goddess smiles and says, "I hope you're hungry, because breakfast will be ready soon."
After Jun changes in the bathroom, the Harvest Goddess lays out a lot of food on the table for Jun. She put out enough food to feed a family of six people.
"Wow! You made all this food? How did you know all the food that I like?" asked Jun.
"You have all the recipes that you like written in your cookbook in the kitchen. I have no idea how much food humans eat, so I made everything in the cookbook."
"Well, there's too much food for me to eat, so why don't you eat some with me?"
The Harvest Goddess giggles and says, "don't be silly. I'm the Harvest Goddess, I don't need to eat at all."
Jun stares at the Harvest Goddess awkwardly again, and says, "I see. . . Well, thanks for the food!"
Jun eats as much food as he possibly can, but he can’t finish it all. He takes a look at the clock after he had his fill, it's 7:00 AM. Jun takes his tools, and starts to leave his home to do his chores.
"Where are you going?" asked the Harvest Goddess.
"I have to work. Just because there is a festival, that doesn't mean I can take off from work. If I work fast, we might be able to make it in time for the last few hours."
"Oh, you don't have to worry about work. It's already taken care of," said the Harvest Goddess.
"What does that mean?" asked Jun as he opened his door.
As he looks out the door, he notice seven little men running around working on his farm. Jun freaks out and says, "what the? What the heck are those things?"
"They're my little Harvest Sprites," said the Harvest Goddess
"Harvest Sprites?" asked Jun.
The Harvest Goddess claps her hands, and the sprites stop working. "Aqua, Bold, Chef, Hoggy, Nappy, Staid, Timid! How are the chores coming along?"
"Almost done with watering the plants!" answered the Harvest Sprite wearing light blue.
"Harvesting is almost done!" answered the Harvest Sprite wearing purple.
"Cows and sheep are happy, just need to brush them!" answered the Harvest Sprite wearing red.
"All barn animals fed, need to work on the chickens!" answered the Harvest Sprite wearing yellow
"I brought 20 boards of wood from the forest!" answered the Harvest Sprite wearing orange.
"Eight large fishes caught and shipped. Need to feed the fishes in the pond!" answered the Harvest Sprite wearing blue
"I’m just about done weeding the field!" answered the Harvest Sprite wearing green.
All the Harvest Sprites group together and says, "we are almost done Harvest Goddess!"
"That's wonderful!" said the Harvest Goddess cheerfully.
"That's pretty convenient." said Jun scratching his head.
"Now that you don't need to work today, we can go to the festival."
"Well, the festival starts at 10:00 AM. We are still about 3 hours too early."
"Is that so?" said the Harvest Goddess. "Then how about taking me on a tour of your farm!"
"Sure!" said Jun. He takes the Harvest Goddess around his farm, and introduces her to his little family of cows and chickens. The Harvest Goddess takes a great interest in the farm. Although she knows what are cows and sheep, she has never seen them up close before. She is very surprised to learn about where the eggs and milk come from. After about 3 hours, it is time to head over to the festival.
Mayor Thomas greets them both. He is very surprised to see Jun with a date this year. But he asks no questions and allows them in.
As they walk into the square, the Harvest Goddess runs around like a child who entered a theme park for the first time. "Wow, so this is the Valentines Festival? There are so many people here! I know all of the people here, but I never thought I would ever see them in person before."
"The people here are crazy about festivals. That's because since this is only a small town in the boonies, they don't do many fun activities. Even I look forward to some festivals," explained Jun.
Karen slaps Jun in the back to grab his attention. "Hi Jun, what's up? If you're here, then that means you finally got a date to the Valentines Festival, right?"
"Well, sort of," said Jun nervously.
The Harvest Goddess finds Jun talking to Karen. So she runs back to him, and says, "Jun, who are you talking to?" She stares at Karen for a moment. "Oh! You're Karen right?"
Karen is amazed that a girl she never met knew her name. "Yes I am, looks like Jun has been talking about me a lot!"
The Harvest Goddess says, "Well, not exactly, I just-"
He doesn't want people to know that the real Harvest Goddess has appeared in the festival, so he cuts her off. "Uhh. . . Lets not talk about that too much. I just told her all about the people in Mineral Town! That's all."
"I see, so you're Jun's date. So, what's your name?" asked Karen.
"Well, I don't have a name because I'm a god-"
Jun cuts her off again and says, "Her name is Gloria! That's it, Gloria."
"Gloria?" asked the confused Harvest Goddess.
Karen yells, "I asked Gloria, not you!" She turns to the Harvest Goddess again and asks, "so, how old are you?"
"Lets see, I think I'm about twenty thou-"
Jun covers the Harvest Goddess' mouth and says, "she's 20 years old."
Karen becomes upset and yells, "Jun!! You are not being very nice to Gloria!"
"Right, sorry." Jun takes a deep breath, and thinks, "I have a bad feeling about this."
"So, Gloria. Tell me a little bit more about yourself." asked Karen.
The Harvest Goddess thinks about Jun's actions, "well, Jun never asked me to keep my identity a secret, but he's trying so hard to hide it, so lets just play along."
She takes a deep breath, and says, "my name is Gloria, I'm 20 years old. I live in a nearby town called Moondrop Village. My father is a fisherman, and my mother works at home. I met Jun through mail, and he invited me to the festival. Isn't that right, Jun?"
"Right." Jun takes a deep breath of relief, and thinks, "That was close." Then he says, "So, Karen how are things with Rick?"
"Don't remind me. Ever since Popuri got married to Kai and moved out, that seems to be all that he talks about. Kai this, and Kai that. I swear, sometimes I regret marrying the guy. If he's so worried about Kai, why doesn't Rick just marry him instead?"
"What? Men can actually marry other men?" asked the Harvest Goddess. Karen looks at her on an odd manner.
"No, she was just joking," said Jun.
Before anything else happened, Rick comes out of the crowd and shouts, "Karen! It's almost time for the goddess dance!"
"Oh yeah! The dance is about to begin! I need to get into my goddess costume. Gloria, are you going to dance too? Since Popuri moved out of Mineral Town with Kai, we are short one girl. You can use Popuri's old goddess costume."
"No need for a costume, I have the original-"
Jun covers the Harvest Goddess' mouth again. "Umm, Gloria? I think she meant the 'Other' costume."
"What does the goddess costume look like then?" asked the Harvest Goddess.
Karen points at another girl, and says, "Mary is wearing it, take a look."
The Harvest Goddess stares at Mary's dress for a minute. "But that's not what Harvest Goddesses wears!"
Karen looks at the Harvest Goddess awkwardly. "How would you know? Have you ever seen what the real clothing of the Harvest Goddess looks like?"
"Well, umm. Where I come from, we have a different idea what it looks like," said the Harvest Goddess.
"Forget about the minor details," said Karen. She grabs the Harvest Goddess' hand and says, "Lets go get changed. It'll be fun, I promise!"
The Harvest Goddess looks at Jun and asks, "Jun? Should I?"
"Why not? It might be fun. I'm sure you would be very good at performing the dance of the Harvest Goddess," answered Jun winking at her.
The Harvest Goddess nods and says, "okay, I will!"
Karen and the Harvest Goddess runs off to change their clothing. The Harvest Goddess returns wearing the same dress as the other girls. Jun is very impressed at how pretty the Harvest Goddess is with the goddess costume.
Mayor Thomas starts his announcement as soon as the girls are ready. "Hello everyone, and welcome to the Valentine's Festival. Because of one of our young ladies no longer lives in Mineral Town, she cannot participate this year. But this year, another girl will be taking her place. I introduce you to Gloria!"
Everyone in the crowd claps and cheers as the Harvest Goddess bows.
"OK, the dance is about to start. Play the music!" yelled the mayor.
As the music begins to play, all the girls start to dance. They start by tapping their toes, and slit into formation. Each girl dances and twirls one after another ending with the Harvest Goddess dancing gracefully. Yuto blushes as the goddess shows off her moves as she stuns the villagers with her dance. Each jump looks like she is floating, each twirl has the grace of a ballerina, and each clap is light yet crisp. She has no problem keeping up with the other girls who has been doing the dance for years. Everyone looks in awe as they all dance in perfect sync, almost as if the Harvest Goddess has been dancing with them forever. When the dance ends, the whole village cheers loudly for the Harvest Goddess. As she takes another bow, all the other girls gathers around her like a celebrity.
"Oh my god! Gloria, that was awesome!!" yelled Karen.
"Where did you learn how to dance like that?" asked Mary.
"It was almost like if you were the real Harvest Goddess for a moment," commented Elli.
"You think you can teach me how to dance like that?" begged Ann.
Everyone else crowds around the Harvest Goddess. She is smiling because everyone in the festival loved her performance so much. It takes a while for the crowd to calm down, but the festival continues. The villagers are now exchanging valentines chocolates with their partners after the dance. The Harvest Goddess just sits in the benches and watches everyone else have fun. Jun walks up to her with a drink in his hand.
"Are you having fun?" asked Jun.
"I haven't had this much fun in. . . Well, I guess I never had this much fun before!"
"Here, have a drink. That dance must have worn you out."
The Harvest Goddess giggles, and says, "don't be silly. I'm the Harvest Goddess, I don't need to drink at all."
Jun laughs. He already expects an answer like that from her, but he doesn't care. "Yeah, yeah, I heard that already. But just because you don't need to, that doesn't mean that you can't. Just give it a taste, you might like it."
The Harvest Goddess takes the drink and takes a sip. Her cheeks becomes rosey with delight. "Wow, this is so wonderful! I never tasted anything before, I never knew that food and drinks would taste so, amazing!"
"I knew that you would like the taste of iced tea." Jun nervously hands a small box to the Harvest Goddess.
"What is this?" asked the Harvest Goddess.
"They are Valentines day chocolates. Since you came with me to the Valentines Festival, I thought I should give you some."
The Harvest Goddess accepts the gift, and opens the box revealing chocolates. She grabs a chocolate, and put one in her mouth. She blushes as she enjoys the taste of chocolates for the first time. It completely blows her away. "Wow, so these are chocolates? I never thought that the simplest things like this could be so incredible."
"I'm glad you like it," said Jun. His face also blushes as she continues to eat the chocolates.
Karen slaps Jun in the back again. "So, how are you two doing? Getting along?"
"Yes, and this festival is so great! I wish it would never end!" said the Harvest Goddess.
"It's almost 6:00 PM, and the festival will be over soon. But don't worry, we have lots of festivals here in Mineral Town. I hope I get to see you around for more!" said Karen.
Rick waves at Karen from a distance. "Karen! Let's go to the beach now!"
"Okay!" yelled Karen. She shakes the hands of the Harvest Goddess and says, "Hey Gloria, I gotta go now. So see you later! Jun, don't be mean to her!" Karen then runs off with Rick to the beach.
The Harvest Goddess is curious, so she asks, "why are they going to the beach? Is something happening there?"
"Not really. Usually after this festival, people run up to their favorite places so that they can talk about their feelings."
"I see," answered the Harvest Goddess.
"Hey, do you want to go anywhere?" asked Jun.
The Harvest Goddess thinks for a moment. The only place that she can really call her favorite is her home. "Lets go back to the pond," she said.
Jun and the Harvest Goddess leaves the festival and back into the mountains. They sit by the pond where the Harvest Goddess can continue to finish her chocolates. Then for the rest of the night, they just talk about how much fun they both had in the festival. Soon enough, it was 10:00 PM again.
The Harvest Goddess places her empty box on the ground and says, "Jun, it's time for me to go back."
"Oh, I forgot. You were only allowed to be human for 24 hours."
The Harvest Goddess nods, "I want to thank you for today. I had a lot of fun."
"Do you have to go back?" asked Jun.
"Yes. I am the Harvest Goddess after all, I must help the plants and trees grow, and keep nature alive." The Harvest Goddess takes a step forward, and kisses Jun on the cheek. "Farewell, Jun."
The Harvest Goddess walks up to the lake, and starts to chant some words Jun can't understand. Her body begins to glow again just like before. A tear falls from Jun's cheek, and hit the grass on the ground. All he can say is, "good bye, my Valentine."
In the middle of the spell, she stops chanting and glowing. She turns around, and shows Jun the tears falling from her eyes as well.
"Harvest Goddess! What's wrong?!"
The Harvest Goddess runs back to Jun, and hugs him tightly. She cries on his chest as she says, "I. . . I. . . I don't want to go back! I had so much fun being a real human, that I don't want to go back to being a goddess! I just want to stay here with you."
"But. . ."
"Please don't say anything. Just hold me for a little while. I don't know why, but being like this is making my heart beat so quickly. Am I scared, or. . . In love?"
"I see, so the Harvest Goddess can have real feelings like a normal girl after all. To tell you the truth, I think I've fallen in love with you too."
Jun and the Harvest Goddess stares at one another in their eyes for a few minutes. In only a single day that they’ve gotten to know each other, a bond had already formed between them. Almost like a red string of fate. But even so, Jun is a human, and she is a goddess. Whether she wanted to or not, she has to return to the pond.
"Jun, could you grant me one wish?" asked the Harvest Goddess.
"What is it? I'll do anything you want," answered Jun.
"Close your eyes," said the Harvest Goddess. Jun does exactly what she asks, and then the Harvest Goddess leans up to kiss him on the lips. Jun embraces her tightly, and returns her kiss. After the kiss is over, the Harvest Goddess begins to vanish.
"Looks like the Harvest Lord is calling me. I have to go back now."
"Harvest Goddess! Are you going to be okay in the pond?"
"I do feel lonely in the pond always praying for the health of nature. But that's what I was born to do. Everything will be fine."
"But I don't want you to be alone! I'll have a mountain cottage built nearby, and I'll come see you everyday! So please, don't say you'll be alone!"
"Jun, do you promise?"
"With all my heart!"
"I'm so happy to hear that you care about me that much. . . Goodbye Jun."
The Harvest Goddess vanishes into thin air. Jun cries for a while, but he doesn't want this to end yet.
The next day, he hires Gotz to build him a Mountain cottage as close to the pond as possible. Every single night, Jun brings offerings to the pond, and he goes to see the goddess everyday. They talk and laugh for hours each night since then.
The Harvest Lord feels the love between Jun and the Harvest Goddess, so he allows them to get married some time later. Jun and the Harvest Goddess became the first human and goddess couple ever.
The end.
